As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for handling, storing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring smooth warehouse operations, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and unload shipments of raw materials and finished products.
Organize and store products in the warehouse according to established systems and procedures.
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of product movement and storage locations.
Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization, including proper disposal of packaging materials.
Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring products are rotated and stored correctly to prevent spoilage or damage.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents and condition.
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and shipping goals.
Report any product or equipment issues to supervisors and assist in resolving them promptly.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred, but not required.
Forklift certification is a plus, but training will be provided.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and preparing shipments.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
