Warehouse Associate

Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our client’s team in Balzac, AB. This contract/temp position offers a competitive salary of $18 per hour and is ideal for individuals looking to grow within the food production industry.

• Pay rate: $18/hour.

• Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:30am-9:00pm

• Uphold and comply with company procedures, standards, and policies at all times.
• Follow food safety best practices according to GFSI standards.
• Safely operate industrial production equipment, including cutters, slicers, ovens, and dishwashers.
• Prepare cold food items, such as meat cutting, ready-to-cook meats, salads, and specialty trays.
• Prepare hot food items, including soups, pies, breads, and home meal options.
• Accurately and quickly create products while following recipes and culinary instructions for consistent quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at workstations, including breaking down, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment.
• Understand and adhere to safety standards, including WHMIS training, good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Own vehicle and a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Physically able to perform the job: constant lifting of less than 10 pounds, standing, reaching, gripping, and occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a cool environment (1 to 4 degrees Celsius).
