Adecco is currently recruiting for a Telecommunications Analyst for a 12-month On-site contract opportunity. This role is with our government client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Secret level security clearance.
The Telecommunications Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
Provide technical advice and guidance to define and document the DND/CAF’s overall; requirements for Cisco networking products based on DND’s Enterprise Architecture Standards;
Support NSL by providing Cisco technical requirements as part of procurement strategy;
Provide expertise on the technologies and products that have already been procured;
Transfer knowledge to other members of the project team;
Provide input to those documenting the project;
Provide guidance on lines of future development;
Review the EMMS, suggesting modifications as needed;
Guide others in the re-creation of the management and monitoring system, transferring knowledge as needed;
Guide the selection of additional technologies used to implement the EMMS project;
Guide others in the implementation of the EMMS project;
Provide standardized technical requirements and product listings to create a supply arrangement for Cisco products and specialized services;
The Telecommunications Analyst must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Must have a degree or Diploma in systems/business administration;
Must hold a current Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer (CCIE) Certification, specifically in Routing and Switching;
5+ years of experience in the past 10 years as a lead engineer specifically for technical telecoms projects;
5+ years of experience in the past 10 years designing and validating enterprise networks using Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA);
5+ years designing MPLS-based IP networks;
