Adecco is currently seeking a Technology OpS Support Practitioner to join our client’s team for a 6-month contract. Responsibilities:
Research new technologies, providing recommendations for improvement.
Work in a team-oriented setting to plan and execute backup solutions, sharing knowledge across teams.
Ensure adherence to CIO LTS processes and procedures.
Engage with vendors for supplemental equipment and services.
Use empathy and analytical skills to resolve issues under pressure.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism in demeanor and response.
Diagnose issues with local office technologies, including Cyviz, video conferencing systems, Surface Hubs, and more.
Work with experimental technologies and tools.
Be prepared for occasional travel within the city for events and support.
Conduct daily tech checks on the 32nd floor.
Ensure compliance and updates on video conferencing equipment.
Maintain printer compliance and update digital signage as needed.
Assist with the Tech Bar during downtime, including ticket resolution and laptop upgrades.
Update the EAM system on tech changes as required.
Attend event planning calls and provide tech expertise.
Prepare and conduct dry runs for events as requested.
Respond to and action ad-hoc support requests promptly.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Less than 1 year of troubleshooting experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.
Basic PC break/fix knowledge; familiarity with AV technology (Cisco Codec, Microsoft Teams) is a plus.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
