Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our client’s 3PL Fulfillment Centre, responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations to ensure seamless logistics processes in Ajax, ON. Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of 20 to 50 logistics agents, depending on the site
Oversee training and onboarding of new employees
Organize schedules and task distribution to optimize workflow
Monitor individual and team performance, implementing improvement strategies
Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), initiating corrective actions when needed
Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency
Report and address anomalies or operational challenges
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
Enforce internal procedures related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
Participate in internal audits and inspections
Act as a liaison between management and operational teams
Attend production meetings and escalate critical issues
Provide regular reports on team performance and logistics activities
Qualifications:
Proven experience in team management within logistics, industrial, or distribution environments
Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive team success
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong communication and adaptability skills
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
Proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Office and logistics management systems
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
