Responsibilities:
- Support sales and retention initiatives through the creation of reports, presentations, and background materials
- Prepare meeting summaries, track action items, and follow-up as required
- Assist with prospecting and lead generation support documents
- Coordinate onboarding activities and training for new producers
- Serve as the initial contact for new team members, offering guidance and support
- Provide hands-on training for tools like Zywave, Zoom Info, and Bignition
- Provide direct support to the VP of Commercial Sales and VP of Group Benefit & Retirement Solutions
- Maintain calendars, coordinate travel, and manage internal and external communications
- Organize meetings, seminars, workshops, and other team events
- Edit and format documents for internal and external use
- Handle incoming mail and expense report submissions
Requirements:
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally within a similar industry
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Professional, adaptable, and resourceful with a positive attitude
