Adecco is currently hiring a Production Supervisor to join our client’s team in Belleville, ON. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production processes are efficient, safe, and meet quality standards. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of production staff, managing schedules, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve production goals. The Production Supervisor will analyze performance metrics, implement process improvements, and maintain compliance with safety regulations. This position is critical to enhancing productivity and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in manufacturing, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities and schedules.

  • Lead, train, and mentor production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to meet production goals.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Manage inventory levels and assist with forecasting needs.

  • Report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.

  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
