Our client is a premiere and well recognized, national manufacturer with their local facility located in SW Mississauga. Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, this position is hands-on utilizing the SAP system to work on purchase orders in a team environment. This will be an ongoing contract, paying in the $28-30+ per hour range (depending on experience level) with the potential opportunity for the position to convert into a full-time employee and a direction into a career in supply chain management.
REQUIREMENTS – Procurement Coordinator
Professional experience in supply chain or procurement related role working with
Purchase Orders in an ERP system, ideally SAP
Working experience with SAP
Post-Secondary Business or Supply Chain background preferred
Superior communication skills both spoken and written
Career driven, excellence-oriented personality
Understands the importance of communication skills and effective interaction with business partners
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, and skilled in learning new computer programs
RESPONSIBILITIES – Procurement Coordinator
Pulling data from SAP in the form of reports
SAP data entry
Issuing non-complex, purchase orders
Closing open existing purchase orders
Creating, changing, deleting, or submitting requests for new master data.
Expediting open past due purchase orders
Uploading documentation into contracts system
