Adecco is actively seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our client’s team in Mississauga, ON. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum. In this highly technical position, you will be responsible for defining and optimizing the manufacturing processes that directly impact the company’s bottom line.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the scope of work on purchase orders aligns with quoted requirements by meticulously reviewing details, drawings, and specifications.
Work closely with Quoting, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to confirm accuracy of PO details and address any discrepancies.
Develop comprehensive manufacturing process plans for new projects, outlining the sequence for pre-machining, welding, machining, assembly, and subcontract operations.
Identify and specify any necessary fixturing or special tooling, ensuring it is prepared and available when needed.
Organize and prioritize job processing based on urgency, due dates, and material lead times to meet production demands.
Act as a backup for Engineering and Document Control, creating product bills of material (BOM) in the ERP system, including part number creation and issuing shop floor packages.
Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in the transition to a new ERP system, defining part numbers and material BOMs as needed.
Help develop and implement a workflow system, starting with manual processes and advancing to automation through ERP.
Aid in the implementation of an electronic document control system for drawings, specifications, and revisions.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
At least 15 years in a large fabrication/machining environment, with a minimum of 10 years on the shop floor.
In-depth understanding of machining, welding, forming, and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT).
Strong knowledge in tooling and programming, complemented by proficiency in blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Proven experience in developing product BOMs and part numbers in ERP systems.
Commitment to working safely in a heavy industrial environment.
Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
A proactive individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision, exhibiting a positive, “can-do” attitude.
