This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $23-$33, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing biweekly payroll for 5,000-6,000 employees, ensuring compliance with collective agreements and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly payroll for 5,000-6,000 employees using Kronos and SAP.
- Ensure accuracy in payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
- Work collaboratively within a unionized environment and be familiar with collective agreements.
- Analyze and understand payroll reports and run queries as required.
- Prepare reports for CRA and Service Canada, including handling pay garnishments.
- Manage account reconciliations and cost allocations.
- Act as a critical thinker and problem solver to address payroll issues.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field.
- Previous experience with Kronos and SAP is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
- Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
- Ability to analyze reports and maintain attention to detail.
- Proven problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
