Adecco is currently seeking an Order Desk Coordinator for a temporary role located in North York, ON. This position offers a salary range of $24-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities:
- Process incoming orders through our web-based portal system (GoTicket) and email requests, converting customer-provided information into actionable production dockets.
- Schedule production and art to align with customer expectations and production capabilities, while adhering to time-sensitive orders.
- Enter incoming orders into the web-based portal system based on email requests, die room, and external client requests.
- Provide daily mounting reports for production meetings and end-of-day summaries to support workflow visibility.
- Review and interpret production specifications and timelines to initiate appropriate art, plate, or mounting production steps.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, and team meetings.
- Use SAP to retrieve and print production specs.
- Maintain awareness of regional holidays and time zones to optimize scheduling and communication.
- Exercise discretion and professional judgment in handling customer information, especially when servicing competitive accounts.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite – Excel (basic formulas, data sorting/filtering), strong proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and shared files.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to avoid backlog and maintain production flow.
- Understanding of the flexographic plate-making process, production timelines, and associated materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is considered a strong asset.
- High attention to detail with a sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment.
- Basic understanding of SAP for document access and production order support.
- Experience in a customer-facing role or order coordination in a manufacturing or printing environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional discretion, especially when handling information related to competing client accounts.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward improving processes.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work volumes, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities.
