Adecco is currently hiring a permanent, full-time Mechanic - specializing in Cummins engines to work for our client on their Calgary, AB team.
As their Mechanic, you will be a key member of our technical team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, particularly those equipped with Cummins engines. Your in-depth knowledge of Cummins engines and your technical skills will be essential in delivering top-tier service to our customers.
Please note that this is a Senior level position, therefore apprentices will not be considered

Responsibilities:

Specializing in Cummins engines.
-
Build and supports vocational vehicles for essential sectors such as fire, utility, towing, municipalities, and others.

Build, service, and repair vehicles for vital customers.
-
Be at the forefront of the Cummins Full-Service maintenance and repair program
Qualifications:
-
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
-
More than 5 years of experience working with and on Cummins engines for both in-frame and out-of-frame maintenance and service.

Fluent with Cummins Quick Serve.

Platform training on L9, X12 and/or x15 preferred.

Full-Service qualifications for most common Cummins vocational engines (B, L, and X-Series).

Journeyperson certificate.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Strong attention to safety, detail, and accuracy.

Commitment to providing outstanding internal/external customer service.

Interprovincial Red Seal.

CUFC certificate.
-
CVIP certificate.
-
Knowledge of the truck equipment industry.

Experience with hydraulics and 12V truck equipment.

Knowledge of Fire/Emergency apparatus.

Ability and drive to serve as a leader for the continued development and expansion of the Cummins Maintenance program.
