Adecco is hiring Material Handlers in Oshawa! Our client is recognized as one of the world’s leading logistics providers. This is a seasonal opportunity with the possibility of a contract extension.
Pay rate: $18.00-18.50/hour (seasonal pay rate: $20-20.50 / hour.)
Start date: Immediate
Location: Oshawa, ON(Bus Accessible)
Shifts Available: Days - Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm; Sunday to Thursday Afternoon 3:00pm – 11:30pm.
Job type: Temporary Full-time, with possibility of contract extension

General Labour Job Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading products
Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
Marks materials with identifying information
Opens bales, crates, and other containers
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards
Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
Enters and maintains inventory records in the computer
Prepares parcels for mailing
Cleans warehouse area and other duties as required and assigned
General Labour Qualifications
Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience is preferred
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Read fine labels and barcodes, must have attention to detail
Required to stand, walk, kneel, throughout shift
Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
RF gun experience preferred
Clear criminal background preferred
