Adecco is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our client’s team in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Pay Rate: $95k-$110k/year.

Responsibilities:
Coordinating and planning all maintenance activities, ensuring optimal plant performance while meeting production schedules.
Leading initiatives for health and safety, demonstrating best practices and applying corporate safety programs.
Managing the performance and development of staff, providing coaching, feedback, and identifying training needs.
Developing business plans and implementing solutions to resolve maintenance and production-related issues.
Ensuring that contractors adhere to facility procedures and meet contractual requirements for equipment installations, modifications, and maintenance.
Managing departmental budgets and providing financial oversight of expenditures.
Overseeing capital projects, from RFA development to vendor selection, implementation, and training.
Managing inventory through SAP and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory codes (ISO, TSSA, CFIA, etc.).
Leading continuous improvement efforts, focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
A University degree in Engineering or a trade certification such as Millwright or Electrician.
A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, with hands-on experience in maintenance and project engineering. Food manufacturing experience, particularly in high-speed packaging systems, is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA Controls, and the ability to operate AutoCAD.
Experience with maintenance management systems and inventory control using SAP.
In-depth understanding of regulatory standards (building codes, ISO, CFIA, TSSA, etc.).
Proven track record in team leadership, staff development, and performance management.
Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Skilled in managing budgets, controlling costs, and delivering on financial targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and departments.
A solid commitment to promoting a safety-focused work culture, with experience in hazard identification, training, and incident prevention.
