Adecco is actively seeking a killed Red Seal Machinist to join our clients dynamic Maintenance Department in Regina, SK. In this full-time role, you will work closely with other tradespersons to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our industrial machinery.
Responsibilities:
Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Repairing and assembling industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
Operating hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and repair activities.
Testing and providing constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment.
Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
Preparing inspection and service reports.
Training and mentoring apprentices and other staff on industrial repair practices.
Installing, aligning, dismantling, and moving stationary industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
Must hold a valid Red Seal certification as a Machinist.
Proven experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Team-oriented with the ability to train and mentor others.
