Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Logistics Clerk to work for our client’s warehouse team in one of the following locations in Ontario, either Etobicoke, Vaughan or Woodbridge. In this rile you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receiving and distribution of goods. This role oversees the loading and unloading process, verifies shipments against bills of lading, and supports the Shipping and Receiving team to meet business needs and expectations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, supporting business operations, and maintaining high standards in logistics and inventory management.
Pay Rate: $21.70 - $22.95 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Verify shipment details against invoices, orders, Certificates of Analysis (C.O.A.), Bills of Lading (BOL), and other shipping documents.
Pick and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy in product selection, quantity, and packaging for on-time shipments.
Maintain databases, update records, and prepare reports related to shipping and receiving activities.
Enter inventory data into the ERP/WMS system promptly and accurately.
Unload inbound shipments safely, move products to designated storage locations, and organize stock efficiently.
Transfer products from storage to trucks, ensuring shipments are complete, accurate, and undamaged.
Monitor stock rotation to minimize waste, conduct physical inventories, and maintain proper records.
Report cycle count and inventory discrepancies to management in a timely manner.
Perform shipping and receiving functions, including staging, loading, and verifying order accuracy while preventing damage.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in received shipments and update daily receipt logs accordingly.
Safety Responsibilities
Adhere to company health and safety programs, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to the supervisor.
Properly use and wear safety equipment and required personal protective gear.
Notify the supervisor of hazardous conditions, equipment issues, or any safety violations.
Report and address food safety and quality concerns, ensuring strict compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving.
Forklift operator certification is mandatory.
Strong stress management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
Ability to meet deadlines and work with a sense of urgency.
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of HACCP/GMP requirements.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Frequent heavy lifting (10-23 kg).
Regular use of ladders and light tools.
Requires bending, twisting, and maintaining uncomfortable positions as needed.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
