Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Inventory detail-oriented, Control Specialist for our client in Markham, ON. In this role you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, performing inventory counts, and ensuring efficient inventory management processes. If you have strong attention to detail, proficiency in inventory management software , and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you!

Responsibilities:
Responsible for all inventory – ie keeping count of all items coming and going from the stock room
Letting purchasing know what needs to be ordered and when
Placing purchase orders, if purchasing requires support
Following up with the supplier to ensure the PO is shipping on time
Working with purchasing to see the best places to purchase the item
Keeping the stock room organized
implementing/maintaining an inventory system.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related roles.
Great communication skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
