Adecco is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a 12-month contract position located in London, ON. Responsibilities:
Address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
Quote Customer RFQs (Request for Quotes) by creating formal quotes, collecting pricing, calculating sell prices, advising on delivery schedules, and ensuring accuracy.
Review customer orders for pricing, delivery, special instructions, and terms and conditions.
Retrieve customer orders through the internet (experience with Oracle is an asset).
Create and input sales orders into the MRP system.
Assist with the creation of new product forms and customs paperwork (if applicable).
Provide occasional reception coverage and backup for invoicing as required.
Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and other duties as assigned.
Follow the company’s policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Maintain accurate data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
Work efficiently with minimal supervision, demonstrating organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met.
Contribute to problem-solving and resolution as needed.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Minimum of one year of customer service experience. Inside Sales experience is a strong asset.
Previous experience with Oracle or similar systems is an advantage.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a changing environment.
Superior attention to detail with the ability to input data accurately.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of production planning is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A condition of employment will be completing a security assessment to ensure eligibility under Canada’s Controlled Goods Program.
