Adecco is currently recruiting a Business Development Representative. This is a 3-month opportunity with a dynamic client in the music industry headquartered in New York, NY. This exciting role is to help a sales team to connect emerging artists with new opportunities through innovative platforms. The ideal candidate will engage with a curated list of potential artists through email, phone, and social media, fostering genuine connections. This candidate will be instrumental in transitioning artists to their platform and providing qualitative and quantitative feedback to our executive team.
The Business Development Representative will have the following responsibilities:
- Engage with a list of potential artists, segmented by revenue from streaming.
- Utilize CRM or spreadsheet tools for outreach and tracking interactions.
- Maintain organized records of interactions and progress.
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social media with a focus on building relationships.
- Collect and analyze data to share insights on outreach effectiveness and artist engagement.
- Provide qualitative feedback on what works well with different artist segments.
- Collaborate with the team to refine outreach strategies based on data analysis.
The Business Development Representative must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Previous experience in inside sales, preferably within the music industry.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and spreadsheets.
- Strong experience with prospecting and cold calling.
- Good experience with large amount of data.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on building relationships.
- Ability to analyze and report on data to inform business decisions.
- Self-motivated and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to feedback and adaptable to changing strategies.
