Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment in the plant.
Proficiently repair and troubleshoot conveyors, industrial equipment, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, power tools, fans, blowers, hydraulic systems, packaging equipment, and pneumatic equipment.
Perform TIG welding as required.
Install new equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively, maintaining full knowledge of their use.
Adhere to GMP rules and GMP for Maintenance rules.
Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve production goals.
Maintain accurate records using computerized maintenance programs.
Able to work under special conditions such as extreme heat or cold, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Requirements:
Valid 433A or 426A Millwright License.
Proficiency in TIG welding.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently under pressure.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform repairs effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
