Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Income Tax Preparer for a temporary role from Mid-February to the end of April, based in Oshawa, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and filing of individual T1 income tax returns, GST/HST returns, and assisting clients with inquiries. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour.
- Pay rate: $20/hour.
- Location: Oshawa, ON
- Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
- Job type: Temporary Mid-February to end of April | Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file individual income tax returns (T1).
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST/HST returns.
- Communicate with clients and the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) to resolve inquiries.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
- Experience with Tax Cycle software is an asset; will be working with other software and tools as necessary.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
- Work alongside other team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- 1-2 years of experience in preparing Canadian income tax returns using tax preparation software.
- Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel and Outlook.
- Quick learner and comfortable working with new software.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (such as accounting, finance, or business).
- Experience with Tax Cycle software is a strong asset.
