Adecco is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager for a thriving restaurant located in the Durham area. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and drive exceptional guest experiences while managing the operational and financial performance of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:

Directing the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize guest satisfaction.

Ensuring preventive maintenance of restaurant facilities and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards.

Motivating and directing team members to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.

Providing coaching and feedback to Team Members, Shift Coordinators/Managers, and Assistant Managers.

Assuming full responsibility for restaurant profit and loss management by implementing marketing strategies and following cash control/security procedures.

Maintaining inventory, managing labor, and applying financial reporting analysis to enhance restaurant results.

Enforcing compliance with government regulations, Market Policy, employment laws, food safety, Security Policy, and operational policies.

Working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Overseeing a primarily indoor environment with occasional outdoor tasks.

Engaging in physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Proven experience in restaurant management, with a focus on operational excellence.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent financial acumen and a results-oriented mindset.

Knowledge of government regulations and food safety standards.
