General Labourer

Adecco is currently seeking reliable and physically fit General Labourers for a client in the food production industry located in Trenton, ON. This is a temporary on-call position. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, primarily dealing with raw meats, and supporting various production activities.

• Pay rate: $18/hour.
• Location: Trenton, ON
• Shifts: Monday-Friday 5:30am-5:30pm

• Palletizing products and loading pallets according to appropriate patterns.
• Assisting production by delivering ingredients to workstations.
• Maintaining cleanliness on the production floor by removing garbage and performing light janitorial duties.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Comfortable working in cold temperatures.
• Non-accessible by public transit; personal transportation required.
• Shifts vary weekly based on production needs, ranging from 8 to 10 hours.
• Available to work between 5:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear Green Tag safety boots and a hair net.
• No jewelry permitted during work hours.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines is an asset.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
