Adecco is actively seeking a Fundraiser and Communications Leader to join our client’s team. In this full-time, permanent position, you will play a key role in driving fundraising initiatives and managing communications to support a charitable organization that provides vital social services to the community. This hybrid role offers flexibility with 4 days of on-site work per week, and comes with an attractive salary, benefits, and free parking.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to prepare and manage direct mail and online fundraising campaigns.
Oversee the administration of donor databases, ensure accurate donor information, and prepare fundraising reports.
Develop and design communication materials (slide decks, infographics, social media posts, flyers, brochures) to support the fundraising lifecycle.
Cultivate and maintain strong, personalized relationships with donors and potential supporters.
Assist with managing the organization’s website and social media, updating content, and engaging with followers.
Contribute to the development of the organization’s annual and long-term fundraising strategies.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the fundraising portfolio to provide the team and Board of Directors with actionable insights.
Analyze the process for all public-facing communications, including social media, donor communication, philanthropic campaign communications, etc.
Propose articles, letters, social media posts or communication via other channels and media using uniquely developed content and, as applicable, gathering and utilizing content from partners, clients, staff, volunteers and/or other stakeholders to create written content, stories, and videos to tell the story of the organization’s impactful work.
Represent the organization in public speaking opportunities for promotion, education, and awareness-building.
Support communications staff to align communications with organizational goals and objectives
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
A self-motivated individual with the ability to produce high-quality work with minimal oversight.
5+ years of related experience in the non-profit sector in Canada.
Proven expertise in outbound fundraising and donor stewardship, including relationship-building and database management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping and management.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with social media, website management, and databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience in proofreading, editing, and formatting documents.
