Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Forklift Operators with experience in operating Reach, Counterbalance, and Walkie forklifts to join our clients warehouse team in Cornwall, ON. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse, loading, and unloading trucks, and supporting inventory management. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and attention to detail to ensure the smooth flow of products through the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate Reach, Counterbalance, and Walkie forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring that products are handled safely and without damage.
Pick, stack, and move products to designated storage areas or staging areas for shipment.
Ensure proper storage and organization of products, maintaining accurate inventory records.
Perform routine equipment checks to ensure the forklifts are in safe working condition, reporting any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Assist in warehouse operations such as picking and packing orders, inventory control, and product labeling.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of forklifts.
Collaborate with team members and warehouse staff to meet daily production goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of packaging materials and ensuring aisles are clear of obstacles.
Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Valid forklift certification for Reach, Counterbalance, and Walkie forklifts.
Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to follow safety protocols at all times.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various temperature conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and fulfilling orders.
Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed
