Adecco is currently recruiting for a Financial Officer for a 12-Month contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it. This opportunity is a hybrid role for the duration of the contract, requiring Tuesday and Wednesday On-Site.
The Financial Officer must meet the following responsibilities:
Work with cash calls and distributions (SharePoint/Adobe/Excel/Word);
Monthly updating of values (Excel);
Year-End updating for the consolidation files (Excel, Understanding of financial statements);
Review of FS from investments (Excel, Understanding of financial statements);
Downloading statements from the different portals and saving on the server (General Computer);
Monthly financial statement preparation (SAP, Excel, Financial background);
Year end working papers for audit purposes (SAP, Excel, Financial background);
Provide support to the accounting team as required with specific projects;
The Financial Officer will have the following responsibilities:
An undergraduate degree in business, finance or a related field or work experience;
2+ years of experience working in accounting-based roles or financial information review;
Experience working with financial documents (Ideally pension);
Must hold a valid CPA or be in the process of obtaining one;
Eligibility to complete a Reliability level security clearance;
Experience with the MS tool suite including Microsoft Excel;
Nice to have:
Experience with SAP would be considered an asset;
Experience with SIMCORP would be considered an asset;
Fluent bilingualism in English and French;
