Adecco, in partnership with our client, is currently hiring a full-time reliable and professional Driver to join our client's team in Calgary, AB. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining vehicles in good condition. This role requires strong time management, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle physical demands.

Responsibilities:
Pick up donations (respectfully and safely) from clothing bins, clothing drives, partners, and donor residences
Load donations into the truck, placing items safely and appropriately to maximize space
Properly log weights and pickup notes for all donations through our mobile app
Leave an appropriate message card with the residential donor as per Standard Operating Procedures
Deliver the collected donations to our clients and/or unload into a trailer or storage area, following established procedures to maximize capacity
Coordinate with the Driver Team Lead or Operations Manager (or designate) daily with delivery weights/units supplied to our clients, any route discrepancies, staffing concerns and inventory projections
Ensures that the truck is under their control, driven safely and follow rules of the road
Ensure only authorized personnel ride inside the vehicle
Perform periodic quality control checks for bin servicing and maintenance as requested by management
Coordinate donation bin placement, closures, relocation, and removal where applicable and report if maintenance is needed
Performs daily vehicle “circle checks” and cleans/maintains truck daily
Reports any delivery issues to Driver Team Lead or Operations Manager (or designate) as needed
Communicates with office staff throughout the day in case of changes
Ensures copies of all insurance, ownership, CVOR’s etc are current and readily available in the truck
Complete Driver’s Daily Inspection report and Driver’s Daily Report for each truck driven or shift completed
PPE and cleaning supplies provided to keep trucks clean and sanitized
Submit gas and fluid receipts at the end of each shift
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a 16–24-foot truck or similar vehicle.
Physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing 25–50 pounds repeatedly.
Familiarity with local and regional routes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use smartphone-based navigation and logistics tools.
Professional demeanor with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Must be 21 years of age or older (for insurance purposes).
First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
Previous experience in a similar driving or delivery role.
Knowledge of Joint Health & Safety Committee standards (where applicable).
Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Flexible to work irregular hours, including early mornings and weekends if required.
