Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This role, located in Calgary, AB, is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for customer service and a background in business operations. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting various teams and handling escalated customer issues, including billing, purchase orders, and collections.

  • Pay rate: $30/hour.
  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Job type: 6-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Provide organizational support for escalated customer purchase orders (past due POs).
  • Offer organizational support for escalated customer billing issues (no response, lack of response from customers or Honeywell teams).
  • Attend and support the West and South Region on all cash calls and AFDA calls.
  • Daily focus on engaging in the current cash collection management processes.
  • Report challenges and wins to the West and South Region Leadership Team.
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience, Collections, and Disputes teams to prioritize concerns and benchmark current processes against goals (as defined by Honeywell leadership).
  • Evaluate, adjust, and improve the current collection management process based on feedback and results.
  • Handle billing and collections for all federal projects, working directly with contracting officers.
  • Ensure accurate processing and communication with internal and external teams.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting business operations.
  • 2+ years of MS Office experience in a business environment.
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes.
  • A Bachelor's degree or technical/professional certificate.
  • Strong presentation skills.
