Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dynamic and strategic Communications Specialist to join our client’s team, in the oil and gas sector, in Calgary, AB! In this role, you will take the lead in developing, coordinating, and implementing effective communication strategies that align with the brand's overall vision and objectives.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to create engaging content, manage communication channels, and ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms. Your expertise will help shape our client’s brand voice, strengthen reputation, and effectively reach target audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact internally and externally for the development of marketing communications strategies.

  • Manage the execution of integrated marketing communications programs, collaborating with internal clients and third-party agencies from project briefing through creative development and production to measurement.

  • Plan, manage, and oversee marketing communications budgets.

  • Ensure adherence to established Global Brand Guidelines and oversee the implementation of the brand across assigned areas.

  • Support GBU/LOBs in developing brand strategies and positioning, building support within the organization among key stakeholders to uphold those strategies.

  • Act as asset owner for components of brand communications, such as website content and print literature.

  • Maintain minimal work direction, demonstrating high skill and knowledge pertinent to the position.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in marketing communications strategy and execution.

  • Previous relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to support multiple business priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
