Role Responsibilities:
Grow existing customer database and foster cross-functional customer relationships.
Develop Customer Account Strategy plans to drive growth, focusing on product launches, cost management etc.
Build and maintain customer relationships, managing commercial activities and operations.
Work with teams across regions to align on strategic goals.
Negotiate prices with customers to ensure needs are met.
Monitor raw material pricing and economic agreements, fostering cross-functional relationships.
Address customer and internal inquiries promptly and effectively.
Present information to senior management and customers.
Traveling to customer locations or facilities, this could include domestic and international travel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
5+ years of sales experience, focusing on OEM account management.
Experience in batteries or electrification is highly preferred.
Direct working experience with major automotive OEMs.
Ability to present complex business proposals and influence decisions.
Understanding of OEM manufacturing environments and product capabilities.
Experience in negotiating and managing customer contracts.
