Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and efficient Batcher/Mixer to join our client’s production team in Belleville, ON. The Batcher/Mixer is responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients according to specific formulas and ensuring that production standards are met in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to precise production formulas and recipes.
Operate and monitor batching and mixing equipment to ensure consistency and quality of products.
Ensure all ingredients are accurately prepared and added in the correct sequence and amounts.
Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and food safety guidelines (HACCP, GMP).
Conduct quality checks throughout the batching process to ensure product specifications are met.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of batching/mixing area and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
Record and track batch information, ingredient usage, and production data as required.
Work closely with the production team to meet daily production schedules and targets.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues with equipment and report any mechanical or quality problems.
Adhere to safety procedures, including the proper handling of chemicals and raw materials.
Assist with other production tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in food processing is a plus.
Previous experience as a batcher, mixer, or similar role in a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, such as HACCP, GMP, and sanitation practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy ingredients (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in varying conditions (heat, cold, humidity).
