Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator for a 12-month contract role located in Ajax, ON. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of purchase order invoices.   • Pay rate: $25/hour.
  • Location: Ajax, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday start between 7:00-9:00am, finish between 3:00-5:00pm
  • Job type: 12-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all purchase order invoices are processed accurately and promptly in the system, in alignment with month-end and payment run schedules.
  • Audit Excel upload files related to purchase orders to maintain integrity.
  • Identify and track any invoice discrepancies, providing clear actions and requirements for resolution.
  • Address accounts payable trade invoice inquiries and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Drive process improvement and automation by analyzing purchase order invoice submissions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, striving for automated and error-free operations.
  • Prepare, test, and maintain all process and desk procedure documentation in a central location.
  • Provide backup support to other Accounts Payable Team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Must pass criminal, employment, and education verifications.
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or accounts payable role.
  • Experience using SAP is an asset.
